Volvo S60 T6 first impression
Volvo S60 T6 was today launched in Delhi, at the Army Equestrian Center. While there, we got a chance to go up close and personal with the various versions of S60 and managed to take the 304hp S60 T6 Summum for a quick spin.
Even though all the variants of S60 look the same, however the 18” alloy wheels on the S60 T6 Summum, lend it a unique distinction and poise, which is all the more apparent when one compares it to its diesel counterparts.
However this isn’t the reason why it is couple of lakh costlier than its diesel sister, the reason for that lies in the 304 horse stable underneath the hood, with all its thoroughbreds being all too eager to sprint to life, even at the slightest nudge on the accelerator.
Which is mated to the oh so smooth and almost transparent (in operation) six speed automatic geartronic transmission, making this AWD sedan ready to respond to even the slightest of input from the driver.
Sadly we weren’t able to test the much touted Collision Warning with Full Automatic Braking system, even though we tried our best to look for volunteers for this somewhat scientific test 
.
Sadly soon our short stint with this marvelous and peppy car was over and it was time to climb back into the boring Honda City, and head back home 
, hoping that we will get to review the T6 Summum for a much longer duration soon.
