Volkswagen to launch Beetle on 4th December
Volkswagan is all set to launch the Beetle in India on the 4th of December at Mumbai.
While the company hasn’t yet announced the price of the Volkswagan Beetle in India, it is expected to be priced around 20 lakh rupees, since it would be imported in India and Volkswagan would have to pay 110% import duty on the car.
Due to this, Volkswagan isn’t expecting to sell Beetle in large volumes and is essentially launching it in India as part of their brand building exercise.
