Toyota starts roadside assistance service

Today onwards, Toyota India has started its roadside assistance service. All Toyota vehicles sold after 1st of April 2010 will be provided with roadside assistance coverage for the first 3 years, which is absolutely free within 100km of the dealership.

The program will cover the customer against unforeseen incidents. Jumpstart of vehicle when the battery dies down , replacing a flat tyre with a spare one, providing fuel in case the vehicle runs out of it, retrieving spare key from home and towing immobilized vehicles to the nearest Toyota dealership are some of the services provided under this programme. In case of regrettable incidents like accidents, the vehicle will be towed to the nearest dealership and the customer will also be provided a free ride home. In case of injuries the customer will be assisted to seek medical help and accommodation if required.

The services will be centrally managed by a 24×7 Assistance Centre which can be reached at the following toll free number, 1800-102-5001.

Mr. Sandeep Singh, Deputy Managing Director, Toyota Kirloskar Motor said, “In line with Toyota’s philosophy of “putting the customer first” we will now provide road side vehicle service assistance, round the clock, to our customers. In case of unforeseen circumstances if the customer cannot bring his vehicle to us, we will go to them.”
