Porsche recalls Panamera in India
Porsche has decided to recall 11,324 Porsche Panameras worldwide due to faulty front seat belt and Porsche’s official importer in India is carrying out a similar exercise.
According to a press statement issued by Precision Cars India Pvt Ltd., “Porsche requests all Panamera drivers to contact or visit their local Porsche Service Centers. An additional safety element on the seat belt fastening point has to be fitted on 11,324 of the Porsche Panamera 2010 model year. This is a preventative measure carried out at no cost to the customer. There are no reports on any incidents. All Porsche Centers in India have contacted their respective customers and a flawless process is in place. The repair is minor and will take a very short time. The respective spare parts are available in all Porsche Service Centers in sufficient quantities. ”
