Petrol pump strike in Delhi on Friday
Petrol Pumps in Delhi will shut down on 14th May 2010 i.e. tomorrow to protest against recent order by Delhi Government to hike VAT on sale of Diesel from 12.5% to 20%, which has made diesel in Delhi costlier than its neighbors.
Delhi Petrol Dealers Association is also threatening to go on indefinite strike from 17th May, if their demand for a roll back on the VAT hike isn’t met by the government.
So if you are running low on fuel, make sure to tank up today.
