New Skoda Fabia launched in India
Skoda India has launched new Fabia in India today with two petrol and one diesel engine.
While the petrol variants will be powered by 1.2 and 1.6 liter mills from Volkswagen, producing 75 and 105 horses respectively, the diesel variant comes with a 1.2 liter TDI engine, producing 75bhp. These engines are the same ones already doing duty on Volkswagen Polo, so it would interesting to see, how has Skoda gone about tweaking them for their needs and how much of a difference we will be able to witness between the performance of new Skoda Fabia and Volkswagen Polo.
Apart from heart transplant, Fabia also gets a cosmetic upgrade by way of redesigned with front end with new headlamp, bumper and grille.
