General Motors and Reva to build vehicles together New SX4 with VVT engine and automatic transmission
New Maruti SX4, coming soon…
India’s largest car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki, is planning to relaunch SX4 with a new and more powerful engine.
Expected to be launched within a fortnight, the new SX4 is expected to boost sales of the car, which in the recent month has seen a sharp decline, due to newer competing models being launched in India. Majority of the competition has come from Honda, who has managed to sell 37,600units of the Honda City (till August 2009), while Maruti has only managed to sell 9,763 SX4s in the same period.
