Mahindra and Mahindra has decided spruce up Mahindra Scorpio VLX and introduce the much needed and welcomed, front airbags and added a few more features to it.
Here is an overview of the features and equipment added in the new Mahindra Scorpio VLX model:
Front Dual Airbags: The most notable and welcomed feature in the new Scorpio VLX is the addition of front dual airbags. In the event of a collision, these dual airbags, also called SRS – Supplementary Restraint System, inflate instantly, protecting the front seat passenger and driver from serious injury that may be caused from crashing into the steering wheel or the front dashboard.
Mahindra Body Function Module: Mahindra and Mahindra has added a neatly packaged diagnostic toolbox fixed under the driver’s seat, which helps to quickly identify cause of vehicular problems/concerns; and offers a central control unit that links all the electronics. This module will help service station staff to easily and quickly identify issues with your Mahindra Scorpio.
Speed Alert Warning: Another nifty feature added by M&M is the speed alert warning, which warns the driver through audio alerts, when the prespecified speed limit (can be adjusted as per customer requirement) is crossed.
New Twinpod Instrument Cluster: New Mahindra Scorpio VLX also gets a new twinpod intrument cluster with higher data accuracy, LED-driven ‘telltale’ bulbs, fuel & Temperature gauge as bar graphs, integrated tyre pressure monitoring system and a large central LCD display.
Bluetooth Connectivity: New Scorpio VLX also comes with bluetooth connectivity, which not only lets you receive calls, but also enables you to play music on your phone and broadcast it through Scropio’s speakers.
Front Speakers with inbuilt tweeters: New front Speakers with inbuilt tweeters provide enhanced sound quality at higher frequencies.
