Mercedes Benz SLS AMG launched in India
After giving India a glimpse of SLS AMG at the Auto Expo 2010, Mercedes Benz today launched it in New Delhi, India.
The super expensive and powerful SLS AMG is priced between 2 to 2 and a half Crore Rupees and is powered by a 6.3 liter V8 engine, which produces 420HP at 6800 rpm and 650Nm of torque at 4750 rpm. Enough power to propel this 1.6 ton car to 100kmph in 3.8 seconds and go on to hit 317kmph top speed!
Speaking at the launch, Dr. Wilfried Aulbur, Managing Director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz India said, “The SLS AMG represents the true spirit of our brand- ‘The Best or Nothing’! It embodies passion, performance, design, technology and engineering excellence- values that make us one of the most exciting brands in the world, today.”
Mercedes Benz already has 10 orders for the magnificent piece of German Engineering and will likely have a waiting period of 6-8 months!
