Mercedes-Benz E 200 CGI BlueEfficiency launched in India
Mercedes-Benz today launched the E 200 CGI BlueEfficiency in India, with a price tag of 39.5 lakh rupees (Ex-Showroom Delhi).
Mercedes-Benz E 200 CGI BlueEfficiency is powered by a 1.8 liter inline 4 engine, which develops 183hp @ 5400rpm and manages to produce whopping 285Nm of torque between 2400-4000rpm. By combining CGI and BlueEfficiency technologies in the new E class saloon, Mercedes-Benz is hoping to deliver maximum efficiency and performance, while being more environmentally friendly.
Speaking at the launch, Dr. Wilfried Aulbur, Managing Director & CEO of Mercedes-Benz India Ltd. said “E-Class has been an all-round success internationally; in India too it is the most popular luxury car in the country. The new E 200 CGI BlueEfficiency is an irresistible combination of power, torque and luxury and further reinforces the broad range within the E-Class offerings.”
