Maruti Suzuki hikes prices

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has announced a marginal increase in the price of its models, excluding recently launched Eeco, Swift (Petrol) and Gypsy models.

The price increase is to partly recover the increase in the input costs arising out of raw material costs over the past one year. The price increase varies from 0.12 per cent (Ritz VDi) to 1.90 per cent (Dzire LXi). For the affected models, the average increase in prices is around 0.6 percent.

The introductory prices for the refreshed Estilo, which was introduced in August 2009, stand withdrawn.

Here is detailed price hike of Maruti Suzuki cars:

  • Prices of Maruti 800, Omni, Alto, A-star and Ritz has gone up by Rs. 600
  • Price of SX4 has been hiked by Rs. 2000
  • Price of WagonR has been hiked by Rs. 3,700
  • Price of Swift diesel has witnessed a hike of Rs. 6,500
  • New Estilo is now expensive by Rs. 1,243 to Rs. 2,486
  • Price of Swift Dzire has gone up by 10,000
