Maruti not planning to increase prices!
While other major car manufacturers in India have increased prices of most of their models, Maruti Suzuki has decided to stick with the current prices, as it concentrates on regaining its market share, which has come down slightly in past couple of year.
Though reducing market size has not meant a reduction in volume, according to Maruti officials, they are operating at 130% capacity to meet the current demand and apart from Estilo and Maruti 800; there is a waiting list for all of their cars.

However, this isn’t going to stop the company from trying to increase its sales in October to a new height and Maruti is planning to do this by offering further discount on its cars, during the upcoming festival season!
While only time will tell, whether or not this strategy would work to the advantage of Maruti and help it regain market share, it is certainly a good and welcome news for the customers, as they try to get maximum bang for their buck!
