Indica, India’s most fuel efficient car?
As per a statement issued today by Tata Motors, Tata Indica is all set to become the most fuel efficient car in India, with the launch of the new CR4 diesel engine.
According to Tata Motors, the new BS4 compliant, CR4 diesel engine will ensure 32% increase in power, 65% increase in torque along with a 46% improvement in fuel efficiency! The new engine will produce 70 PS of peak power at 4000rpm and 140Nm of torque between 1800-3000rpm.
The new Indica is also expected to receive a host of other changes, even though it would be the engine, which would really make the headlines in this round of upgrade.
