Diesel and CNG price hiked in New Delhi
Delhi Government has decided to hike the VAT imposed on Diesel and CNG in the National Capital.
While the VAT on Diesel has been increased from 12.5% to 20%, which translates into a hike of Rs. 2.37 liter i.e. prices have gone up from Rs. 32.92 to Rs. 35.29 a liter. CNG which only recently saw a price increase of 50 paisa per kg (link), will now cost Rs. 1.09 more i.e. Rs. 24.59 per kg.
